A4 Shops Order Form
Choosing Prizes and Calculating Change
The boys get a form and a catalog where everything's priced in gemoro currency. They fill out the form, picking what they want from the prize shop's catalog and then figure out how much it all costs and how much change they'll get back.
Managing Prize Orders and Payments
A student named Chenvoni (shopkeeper) acts as the shopkeeper, collecting forms from other students to ensure the correct amount is enclosed. The Chenvoni also provides any necessary change. Afterwards, it's their responsibility to ensure that each student receives the prize they ordered.
Transform Your Classroom
Rewarding Achievement
Students get different coins for different achievements, whether for good behaviour or something they've done individually or as a whole class.
Money changer
Each day of the week, a different boy in the class is given the money box and takes on the role of the Shulchoni (Money Changer). The rest of the class can exchange their coins for a higher currency.
The schools
prize shop
Every Rosh Chodesh, the school opens up its own Chanuso (shop) where the students can buy or order prizes priced in the gemoro’s currency.

Why Choose Our Coin Incentive Program?
Testimonial
Implementing a coin incentive program at our small Lubavitch Cheder has been a tremendous success, enhancing both our school environment and student experience. This initiative has fostered a culture of positive behavior, academic excellence, and community engagement. Students earn coins for their achievements and good conduct, which they can exchange for rewards. As a result, we've seen a noticeable increase in motivation and enthusiasm among our students.
An exciting aspect of this program is its use of the currency mentioned in the Gemara. By earning and using these historical coins, students become more proficient in understanding the Gemara, bringing the texts to life in a practical way. This approach emphasizes the principle "דין פרוטה כדין מאה מנה," teaching that the law of a small coin (פרוטה) is as significant as the law of a large sum (מנה).
Additionally, the coin incentive system teaches valuable life skills such as saving, budgeting, and financial planning. Students learn to save up for larger prizes and decide how to spend their money wisely. Older students gain experience in banking, money exchange, and acting as storekeepers, further enriching their learning experience.
Parents and community members have praised the program, boosting our school's reputation. Overall, the coin incentive system has created a more dynamic and supportive educational atmosphere, driving success and positivity throughout our Cheder.
